Grief is part of the natural healing process. The feelings of disbelief, sorrow, numbness and anger are part of the grief process but may be difficult to understand or express. All of these feelings are a normal response to a tragic and emotionally charged life crisis.
Everyone has there own grieving style. Parents, caregivers, children, youth, grandparents and other family members will all grieve in their own way because their individual relationship with their loved one, who has died. It is unique to them.
Children experience many of the same feelings as their parents, but are less able to self-identify and express their feelings.
Our programs are structured to provide a non-judgemental, peer-to-peer caring environment to assist families in the aftermath of a death.
